Die Band Jethro Tull ist wirklich ein Phänomen: sie besteht schon so lange, hat schon so viele Songs rausgebracht, und wird trotzdem nie langweilig. Meine Eltern sind schon seit den 70er Jahren große Fans von dieser Musik, und auf den Musikgeschmack meiner Eltern kann ich mich immer verlassen … Ich kenne kaum eine Band, deren Lieder so vielseitig sind . Der Name Jethro Tull gibt sozusagen eine Garantie für anspruchsvolle, rockige Musik auf höchstem Niveau.
Besonders liebe ich die langsamen, balladesken Stücke mit den extravaganten, rockigen Flöteneinlagen von Ian Anderson. Aber auch seine Stimme ist ein echtes Highlight!
